  1.       Welcome to VDS 2.10!
  2.       Before installing VDS on your hard drive, you should be aware of a few
  3.    cases that may conflict with the operation of VDS.
  4.       If your hard drive is prepared using Ontrack Disk Manager in a way that
  5.    it requires a device driver to access, then you should NOT install VDS.
  6.    We have not tested VDS in that environment, and therefore cannot guarantee
  7.    safe operation.  Simply press CTRL-C now to stop the installation.
  8.       If you use a disk compression program (such as Stacker), or a security
  9.    program that encrypts the contents of hard disks, then you should NOT
  10.    install VDS on your disk. This includes DR DOS compressed volumes. We 
  11.    cannot guarantee correct operation on such drives.  Please do not confuse 
  12.    disk compression programs with file compression programs such as PKZIP. 
  13.    Disk compression programs supervise all accesses to the hard disk. VDS 
  14.    cannot tolerate such supervision and bypasses all active monitors of this 
  15.    type. If you have DR DOS 6.0, please read HILITES.TXT file first. 
  16.       If you are using any such program, please abort installation of VDS by
  17.    pressing CTRL-C now.
  18.       VDSFSCAN.EXE is the only program in VDS 2.10 package that works on all
  19.    DOS compatible drives, even if they require a device driver or if they
  20.    are local area network server drives.
  21.       If you read and understood the message above, and believe that there
  22.    will be no conflicts between VDS and other third-party software you
  23.    may be using, please press ENTER to continue; otherwise press CTRL-C now.
